Course DescriptionThis face to face course prepares students with the skills and knowledge to build a career in an office environment. Skills are developed within a simulated business environment. This course includes studies in the areas of technology, information handling, communication, organisation and team skills. This qualification is current in the national register.
PathwaysCompletion of this full certificate course may lead to employment as a General Clerk, Word Processing Operator, Data Entry Operator, Personal Assistant, Receptionist, Clerical Officer or Customer Service Officer. Clerical-administrative workers are found in all industries, providing support to businesses by organising, storing, manipulating and retrieving information. Graduates from this qualification may choose to undertake further studies such as the Certificate IV in Business in a range of fields including administration, sales, marketing/communication and leadership management.

Plus 3 school holiday workshops x 6 hours. The course will also be run on Mondays and Tuesday from 1 Feb 2021 8.45am - 3.30pm, and 3 school holiday workshops. Please elect Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday on your Expression of Interest form. Students are also expected to dedicate up to 7 hours per week to structured self-paced study or online study to gain the knowledge and skills required of this course and complete assessment tasks.
