Course DescriptionCertificate II in Construction is a unique program designed for students with an interest in the building and construction industry. Building Links work in conjunction with Service to Youth Council Inc (SYC) and Housing SA in renovating and remodelling existing Housing SA properties, with students developing skills in areas including carpentry, concreting, tiling, painting and decorating, joinery, plastering, bricklaying, landscaping and demolition. This course combines structured workplace training, practical work sessions and theory into a single package designed to give students a work ready qualification.
PathwaysThis certificate reflects the role of entry level employees within the construction industry. Further study in Certificate III in Construction and/or School Based Apprenticeship or Traineeship or a Full Time Apprenticeship in the building construction industry may follow this.

Dates and Times35 weekly sessions at Youth Education Centre on Thursdays from 08:30 until 15:00.
Commencement date 04/02/21.
Students are required to attend White Card training on first week of course. Students are unable to attend work site until this training has been successfully completed
