Course DescriptionThis qualification will provide participants with the knowledge and skills to demonstrate a range of technical skills in a solo and group dance performance. In addition, students will also get the opportunity to; work in a team, developing an understanding of the mechanics around creating a project, , create a short solo and small group dance piece, develop skills in assisting the teacher and design a concept for a performance setting just to name a few. The course also provides numerous opportunities for students to work with industry professionals.
PathwaysSuccessful completion of the Certificate III will lead to opportunities to undertake either a Cert IV, Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Bachelor Degree in various other dance related careers such as dance performance or education.
Other RequirementsBlack Leggings. Appropriate clothing for practical dance activity.
