Course DescriptionPAINTING & DRAWING. This face to face course is for those students who want to expand their knowledge and skills in painting and drawing. It is a creative and exciting approach to visualising ideas and concepts. A variety of different contemporary and traditional techniques will be covered in the areas of painting, drawing, collage and mixed media. This course is a good way to develop a portfolio, as students will be encouraged to create pieces using a variety of media. This qualification is current in the national register
PathwaysThis certificate is an entry-level award for industry (support/assistant roles). Completion of this qualification may lead to entry into Advanced Diploma and Degree Courses in Visual Art courses at TAFE and Universities. Further training may lead to employment in the following professions: Freelance Studio Artists, Studio Assistants, Community Arts, Illustrators, Museums / Art Galleries, Independent Artist, Tattoo Artist.
